is an annual event that celebrates the teaching profession. It aims to honor and pay homage to the teachers who have risen above themselves to become true catalysts of change. This year, it would be held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City on September 19, 2009 to be participated in by more than 10,000 teachers from all over the archipelago.

Bato Balani Foundation (BBFI), in cooperation with Diwa Learning Systems will once again open the search for honorees for The Many Faces of the Teacher (TMFT) program. The search is open to teachers of all ages, who espouses the nobility of the profession and are worthy role models for students, colleagues and other members of the community.

Themed "Our Teachers, Our Heroes," this year's A Tribute to Teachers was held last September 19 at the SMX Convention Center. Tribute is made possible with BBFI's coordination with Diwa Learning Systems Inc. (DLSI). Attended by over 10,000 educators, it was a day of new learnings, emotional moments and rapt faces.
